20 Tortillas maïs et blé 50/50 Casa Mendosa® ou Tortillas Originales Casa Mendosa®3 tasses de poulet cuit et effiloché1 oignon1 poivron rouge1 piment jalapeno1 tasse de sauce à tacos6 tasses de fromage Monterey Jack râpéFacultatif : salsa pour accompagner.
INSTRUCTIONS.
Preheat your oven to 350°FLine large baking sheet with parchment paper.Place shredded chicken into a large bowl; adding onion, red bell pepper, jalapeno and taco sauce. Mix well to combine.Cut each tortilla in half and place 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture with 4 tablespoons of Monterey Jack cheese on one half of each tortilla. Roll each tortilla into cones.Place a jar in the center of a the lined baking sheet.Place the first layer of stuffed tortillas around the jar to create a wreath-like shape. The points of the cones should be touching the jar.Sprinkle cheese over each cone layer and repeat the process until you have used the remaining tortillas.Remove the jar from the baking sheet before placing in the oven.Bake the wreath for 15 to 20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the tortillas are golden brown.Once cooled, carefully transfer the blooming quesadilla to a serving platter.Serve with your favourite dipping sauce. We recommend salsa or guacamole.
