Quesadilla Burger.
INGREDIENTS.
4 Casa Mendosa® Original Medium Tortillas1 lb. of lean ground beef1/2 cup of shredded cheese4 tbsp. of mayonnaise2 chopped tomatoes1/2 cup of sweet onion, chopped.salt & pepper to tasteoptional: coriander or parsley to garnish.
INSTRUCTIONS.
Place the ground beef in a bowl and season with salt & pepper.Separate the meat into 4 balls.Place a tortilla on a flat surface, adding the meatball to the center of the tortilla.Gently, press the meatball down until is a flat burger that lines the edges of the tortilla.Place a large frying pan on the stove over high heat. Once, the frying pan is hot lower to medium heat before placing the tortilla in the frying pan meat side down. Leave in the pan for about 5 minutes or until the meat is cooked through. Remove the tortilla from the pan and place on a plate.Add mayonnaise, tomato, onion and cheese. Fold the tortilla in half and place back in the heated pan to get brown and crispy. Repeat this for the rest of your tortillas. Garnish, serve, and enjoy!
